Recognising the celebrations for the 400th year of the King James Bible – “the most influential version of the most influential book in the world, in what is now its most influential language”, the next GMcr Prayer Breakfast will take place on Wednesday 28th September.
The guest speaker is Fr Henry Wansbrough (Ampleforth Abbey), currently Alexander Jones Professor of Biblical Studies at Liverpool Hope University, who has lectured at many universities and conferences, authored and edited many publications on Biblical matters, a former member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission, and a past chairman of Oxford University Theology Faculty.
