Accelerating Community Engagement

November 19th – 9.30 – 4pm – Liverpool Lighthouse, Oakfield Road L4 0UF

On 19th November, TFH, in partnership with the Liverpool Lighthouse, is facilitating a region wide training day on the subject of Community Engagement. Imagine everyone who has a heart for reaching our communities with the love of God working together and collaborating! Imagine our region starting to see even greater cooperation between ministries. Imagine the secular world starting to realise that the Church is truly joined together and increasingly effective.

Since Merseyfest there have been a tremendous number of projects and initiatives which have had hugely positive impacts amongst communities, statutory agencies and civic authorities. Your church may be one of those which has already made great strides. This training day is about sharing what has been done and looking for opportunities to share our knowledge and help others get started.

This training day is for those who have something to share with others, as well as those who want to learn something new. Imagine if we could accelerate what has been happening in the Church across the region! The Liverpool Lighthouse will be taking the lead with their experiences over many years, and we expect this to be a catalyst for us all.

Please consider coming along to this training day, and encouraging anyone in your network to come along as well. The costs have been kept to a bare minimum to enable everyone to come: £10 for the day, including lunch; or £5 if you bring your own lunch.

This promises to be a full and stimulating day. We plan to connect people to help with getting ideas off the ground, mobilising churches, and taking projects to the next stage. There are abundant resources and ideas across our region! If your organisation or project would like to consider exhibiting your work please get in touch.
