Our Friends

Network has hundreds of members & friends across Greater Manchester who we work with, encourage and support. These include Churches, Organisations and Individuals who have a desire to join with us in stimulating purposeful friendship and making disciples across the city.

One of our core values is to inspire new initiatives across the city and one way that we do this is to connect with other individuals or organisations who have a desire to launch a project. Many organisations approach Network for support and guidance in the early stages and begin a partnership with us. Alternatively others who we have known for many years approach us for support and development with a new initiative.

Here are a few examples of how Network has been able to support Churches, Organisations and Individuals recently.

Churches

Network is passionate about the Church and its ability to bring the gospel to communities across Greater Manchester. Making disciples is key to this and three initiatives in particular continue to support churches in their mission. Fresh Thinking connects leaders with others in their region, supports them through prayer and introduces them to important national initiatives that they can adapt locally. One such initiative is Biblefresh, a partnership of over 40 agencies to bring life to the text of the Bible with new and relevant resources for the Church.
Another Network initiative, Manchester Bible School also provides churches with a programme of relevant study that their members can engage with.

Organisations

Network is passionate about entreprenuerial organisations who are working for the good of the city. Many have benefited from our Media Training and Press Support, giving them increased exposure and the tools to make an impact professionally. Street Pastors, Mothers Against Violence, Peaceweek, The Mustard Tree, Acting on Impulse and many others have been helped by Network’s Media support and also had editorial within the NQ publication and connected with leaders through Fresh Thinking.

Individuals

Network is passionate about encouraging individuals who, regardless of any other organisation they may be involved with, are passionate about building the kingdom of God in Greater Manchester. You don’t have to belong to any other group to be a part of Network – you’re already our friend. Everything we do is focused around connecting people and this includes those in business, the arts, sports, media and education. Joining Network brings a sense of belonging to something wider across the city and gives access to a wealth of support both locally and nationally.
